Restaurant Review: La Bucherie Restaurant (Paris, France)

La Bucherie Restaurant

After our morning tour of Notre Dame Cathedral, we all decided to have a late breakfast at the nearby La Bucherie Restaurant.  The restaurant had pretty good, interesting and reasonably priced (for Paris) food, with good-sized portions.

The menu had English translations.  The charming English speaking staff, who warmly welcomed us, was very friendly and the service was fast.

Their breakfast options ranged from an expresso coffee and a croissant pastry, to an "English" option (which had baked beans, bratwurst butter, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms toast and eggs, 9€50) and a “French" option (croissant or baguettes; jam, butter or Nutella; cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate and orange juice, 8€90). The full breakfast, consisting of a big omelet, two croissants, baguette, orange juice and a coffee, is 12€.

Even in the cold early morning or evenings, its outdoor terrace is really cozy as it is cleverly enclosed and they had heaters. The location, in the center of Paris, next to the train station plus the Notre Dame Cathedral, was perfect.
