This 3-star, 11-storey hotel, designed and built by E. Ganzon, Inc. and opened in 2011, has 181 well-appointed, fully airconditioned and spacious non-smoking rooms and suites with cable ready, 24-inch flat screen LED TV; keycard door lock; NDD/IDD telephone; writing desk; coffee and tea making facility; free bottled water; personal refrigerator and private ensuite bathroom with free toiletries, bidet and hot and cold shower (bathtubs for Deluxe and Executive Suites) with rainfall shower head.

The 24.85 sq. m. Superior Room (we stayed in Room 209) has 2 double beds (75 x 48 x 6 inches); the 24.85 sq. m. Superior Plus Room has 2 double beds and a coffee table; the 24.85 sq. m. Deluxe Suite has 1 matrimonial bed (75 x 54 x 6 inches), coffee table and sink counter; and the 55.07 sq. m. Executive Suite has 1 matrimonial bed, coffee table, sofa bed, powder room and sink counter.

Rates, inclusive of breakfast (7 – 10 AM) for two, are PhP4,500 or the Superior Room; PhP4,900 or the Superior Plus Room; PhP6,500 or the Deluxe Suite; and PhP9,000 for the Executive Suite.  

Children 10 years old and below are free of charge when using existing beds (but not eligible or free breakfast).  Additional 20% surcharge during holidays.  Extra person rate is PhP1,000 per night with breakfast.  Mattresses, upon request, are subject to availability.  Check-in time is 2 PM while check-out time is 12 noon. Credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or cash deposit required upon check-in.

It also has a 24-hour front desk, spacious lobby with lots of lounge chairs; a restaurant (open 6 AM to 10 PM) offering Filipino, Asian and Western cuisine; elevators; facilities for disabled guests; a capacious convention hall; function rooms; full size outdoor swimming pool with sun patio; free newspapers in lobby; and free parking at the basement (enough for 80-100 cars). 

Free wi-fi is available at the public area.  The hotel also offers airport transfer (PhP500/way), room service (during limited hours), tour/ticket assistance, daily housekeeping and laundry and ironing services. Fax facilities and luggage storage are available at the front desk.  The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is conveniently located about 3.8 kms. from Laoag City’s historical district (Sinking Bell Tower, Museo Ilocos Norte, etc.), 1 km. from San Nicolas Church, 2.1 kms. from The Robinson's Place Mall and 365 Plaza; 6.46 kms. from Laoag International Airport; and 17.2 kms. (a 20-min. drive) from Paoay’s Church of St. Augustine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
